Managing a Remote Team
(This workshop can also be delivered in-company at a venue of your choice)
It has been a tough year for many teams and rapid change has impacted many. Working remotely had been predicted to be the norm from around 2028. The Global Pandemic has escalated that trend by about eight years…and at speed!
This half-day workshop gives delegates the opportunity to reflect on recent times, consider how the dynamics within their team has now changed and plan how best to manage the needs of individuals whilst effectively performance managing the team.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for managers who now find themselves managing a remote or partially remote team. The setting of clear guidelines and boundaries is key to managing at a distance, as is a good understanding of how to achieve the best performance from your team.
We will examine how team dynamics may have changed due to remote working and how best to performance manage a remote team.
- What has changed?
- How do you manage a team remotely?
- How has your style of management changed?
- What skills are required to keep your team performing whilst working remotely?
- Developing the team: how to build trust and a sense of belonging and accountability
- Enhancing communication
- Managing under performance and motivating individuals remotely
- Building a strong high performing team.
Managers will leave the workshop with more structure and strategies to implement back into the workplace.
